WeSellCellular Direct offers both Primary and Secondary grades. While both have been tested for key functions, Secondary grades may have one or more non-key functions that do not work.

Primary Smartphone Grades

Each of these devices has passed all key functional tests.

New Sealed

Brand new in original packaging.

New HSO

Brand New (Handset Only). No Accessories or Boxes included.

Open Box

Comes in the original packaging, but is not sealed. These units are usually from buyers’ remorse programs that the customer returned within 14 days of purchasing.

Grade A1

A1 Appearance: Flawless at first glance

Screen: Very few, if any, faint scratches only visible upon close inspection or viewing/rotating under light

Housing/bezel: Very few, if any, minor blemishes only visible upon close inspection

Grade A2

A2 Appearance: Excellent 

Screen: Few, faint small scratches, only visible upon close inspection or viewing/rotating under light

Housing/bezel: Few, faint small blemishes only visible upon close inspection

Grade RC1

RC1 devices have been cosmetically reconditioned to enhance their appearance. They will have similar cosmetics to our B1 phones.

RC1 Appearance: Lightly Used

Screen: Few to several faint, small scratches, only visible upon close inspection or viewing/rotating under light

Housing/bezel: Several blemishes (scratches, scuffs), visible upon quick inspection

Grade B1

B1 Appearance: Lightly used

Screen: Few to several faint small scratches, only visible upon close inspection or viewing/rotating under light

Housing/bezel: Several blemishes (scratches, scuffs), visible upon quick inspection

Compared to the A2 grade, the screen might show slightly more signs of use, and the housing will show more signs of use.

Grade RC2

RC2 devices have been cosmetically reconditioned to enhance their appearance. They will have fewer imperfections on the bezels, but otherwise, they will be cosmetically similar to our B2 phones.

RC2 Appearance: Used

Screen: Numerous faint and a few more pronounced scratches visible upon quick inspection

Housing/bezel: Several blemishes (scratches, scuffs) visible upon quick inspection

Screens on the RC2 grade will show more signs of use compared to the RC1 grade.

Grade B2

B2 Appearance: Used

Screen: Numerous faint and a few more pronounced scratches visible upon quick inspection

Housing/bezel: Several blemishes (scratches, scuffs) visible upon quick inspection

The screens on the B2 grade will show more signs of use compared to the B1 grade.

C1 Appearance: Heavily used

Screen: Extensive, pronounced scratches, easily visible upon quick inspection 

Housing/bezel: Extensive, pronounced blemishes (scratches, scuffs), easily visible upon quick inspection

KFCG

Screen: 

  • • Working LCD
  • • The device will have cracked glass on the front and/or back
  • • A small percentage may have an LCD blemish

Other: Devices have not been cosmetically graded and will vary in appearance.

KFLB

Screen: 

  • • Working LCD
  • • The device will have a blemish on the LCD (white spot, yellow spot, burned image, discolored LCD, or halo)

Other: Devices have not been cosmetically graded and will vary in appearance.

Primary Tablet and Wearable Grades

New Sealed

Brand new in original packaging.

New HSO

Grade A

Grade A Appearance: Excellent

Grade C Appearance: Heavily Used

Screen: Extensive, pronounced scratches, easily visible upon quick inspection

Housing bezel:  Extensive, pronounced blemishes (scratches, scuffs), easily visible upon quick inspection

Secondary Smartphone, Tablet and Wearable Grades

All devices in grades PGL/PCG/PLB have not been cosmetically graded and will vary in appearance. All units have:

  • • No ID Lock
  • • No Apple activation error
  • • No iTunes Image
  • • Good Touch ID
  • • Clean ESN

PGL

Functionality: 

  • • Power on
  • • Good LCD
  • • One or more non-key functions do not work

Screen: No cracks

LCD: No LCD blemish (see KFLB or PLB for definition of LCD blemish)

PCG

Functionality: 

  • • Power on
  • • One or more non-key functions do not work

Screen: The device will have cracked glass on the front and/or back

LCD: Small percentage may have an LCD blemish (see KFLB or PLB for definition of LCD blemish)

PLB

Functionality: 

  • • Power on
  • • One or more non-key functions do not work

Screen: No cracks

LCD: LCD blemish (white spot, yellow spot, discolored LCD, burned image, or halo)

PID
